Types of Bonds in Brick Masonry

The process of arranging bricks in a uniform pattern using mortar to bind the bricks is known as a bond. Depending on the arrangement of bricks, a number of bonding type exists. They are as follows,

  • Garden wall bond.
  • Facing bond.

  1. The fact that bricks can be placed in a zig-zag bond as well really fascinates me. I plan to erect a small retaining wall in my backyard to keep stray animals away. Maybe it’s time I hire a contractor to deal with the construction process.
